Hello, I’m Isabella Littleford, a seasoned fashion expert with a lifelong love for uncovering the magic where luxury meets everyday style.

Backed by 10+ years in style and design, I’ve had the honor of sharpening my skills in Paris—the heart of haute couture and collaborating with some of the most visionary designers in the world. That experience taught me to recognize luxury-level detail, forward-thinking design, and pieces that last. Golden Goose sneakers have long caught my attention, a brand that seamlessly blends a distressed, lived-in vibe with refined construction and premium materials. Today, I’m offering my insights into several of the Superstar editions, exploring their design language, wearability, and wardrobe potential.

Whether you obsess over every new drop or just want a reliable fashion-forward pair, I’m here to offer you expert insights with insights drawn from my years in the fashion trenches. Come with me as we unpack what sets these sneakers apart!

I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also had them long enough that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

So I’m answering a bunch of popular FAQs, as well as how to grab them for less, below! Also, if you’re in the mood for more fashion reviews, check out my Abercrombie vs. Agolde jean shorts review, Goyard St. Louis GM Tote review, and review of my Dudley Stephens fleece!

Where can I find Golden Goose sneakers?

I grabbed mine from Cettire when they had a limited-time deal going on.

Placed my order on April 28th and they were shipped to gold sneakers me by April 30th, so the shipping was really quick which was a major plus

What’s the price?

When I bought my pair in April, I paid around $385, but their standard price is $513.91.

You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and seventeen hundred depending on their uniqueness.

How does the sizing run?

Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me.

Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.

How comfy are they?

They felt good right away. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they reduce sweat. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already distressed so your feet just slide in.

Do they hold up well?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.

Are they worth it?

Absolutely! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also go with everything.

Best places to buy them cheaper?

Check out my list below. I had a 10/10 experience with GGoose.org, so I suggest them first.

Where were you able to get your pair?

I spotted mine on discount via Cettire and purchased them that way!

I ordered them on April 28th and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast .

What’s the cost?

Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.

These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how customized they are.

Are they true to size?

I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair. Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.

Are they comfortable?

They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in.

How durable are they?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched.

Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
